Balance Total Return

Measures total portfolio performance after net dividends, dividend taxes, stock-gain taxes and withdrawals.

((B + DivNet - Dep - TaxDiv - TaxGain - W) / Dep) x 100

B = current total balance DivNet = sum of net dividends Dep = total deposits TaxDiv + TaxGain = total taxes paidW = total withdrawals

Dashboard Annualized

Average Annual Return

Uses the simple CAGR model between your current balance and total deposits over the active investing period.

Average Monthly Contribution

Starts from the strongest recent annual dividend base and compounds it using dividend yield and the effective growth rate.

Projected Dividends

Dividends at Retirement = Dbase x (1 + y) x (1 + reff)^V

If Dbase is unavailable, the app falls back to B x y.

Uses the future-value formula of a growing base portfolio plus a yearly contribution stream.

Annual Contribution

Ca = 12 x Cm

Future Value

FV = B x (1 + r)^V + Ca x (((1 + r)^V - 1) / r)

If r is 0, the fallback becomes: FV = B + Ca x V.

Dividends at Retirement with Contributions

Converts the future value of the contribution scenario into expected annual dividend income.

Finite Req

If the finite-rate assumption is ever 0, the fallback is NetCost x Y.
